Juju's edits help us enjoy this next clip - Marty and Luna deal with the aftermath of THE PIPE.
The horror with which these two try and find out if Todd's alive is just - palpable. I can feel their nervousness, their disgust, their fear....it's very well done. Luna finally gives me a performance I can live with in this part of the story.
I've said this before, but throughout the whole story, I wanted Jason Webb to pick up Marty's pieces and to be her knight in shining armour, instead of Suede. I never got my wish, but when I watch these scenes, I wish it all over again. Too bad they cannot find the actor and get him back - could prove interesting for Marty on today's fiasco.
Back to the KAD house, Kevin and Suede are up to their old tricks. It's almost like the show matured as Todd did in the Todd story. Look how goofy some of this is, and sometimes hokey. As Todd's character matures, the story line does also - leading to more sophisticated topics (therapy, making amends, dealing with real life out on parole.) I love that aspect of it; it's like we grew up with him in a way.
Just a note, look how we see someone drew "loser" around Todd's picture. Small details that work.
FAIL: The police officer. "Somebody answer me. Who did it?" Every cop knows that before questioning anyone, people usually need their lawyers. LOL! I can't imagine a policeman saying that. He might say, "Ok what happened here, just the facts ma'am." Kidding of course.
