Clip of the Day, Dec. 17, 2010

Happens to be 97! Whoo hoo! Getting into my fave stories!

I had totally forgotten that Jason Webb was Wanda's nephew!

Powell and Kevin at jail. Meh...not too sure I like this scene. It's overly happy and friendly for a jail meeting.

I love Todd's call to Rebecca! He's SO VILE! But we love him! LOL!

"I'm not the monster that you probably think I am, or was." He's actually speaking about the distant future and does not know it!!

He definitely is manipulating her, but not to worry, she begins to turn the tables in her innocence and things will definitely get interesting.

FAIL: Kevin's visit, it's just too...I don't know....preppy? LOL

Sound off!

  1. Here we have three different scenes, Rebecca and Jason , Powell and Kevin , Todd and Mike/then Rebecca.
In the scene with Jason Rebecca shows us how vunerable she is to manipulaters. She's upset about Angela and wants to try and harden up but Jason tells her to stay strong. What happens ...she gets a call from Todd. That she even took the call after the way he treated her is a testament to her need to be able to help those she feels need redemption. unfortunately she is unaware that Todd is beginning to play her.
the second part of the triangle is Powell. Here he is telling Kevin about Todd's amazing change..I remember watching this and thinking how hypocritical of these two guys to not even think there was a remote chance for Todd to change. Everyone bent over backwards for Powell, It was like he never really raped Marty, to the rest of village Landview Powell was a victim of Todd's too . Which in the villagers' eyes meant Todd wasn't worthy of any sympathy, he was doubly Vile.
then we have Todd...Todd's new attitude is getting him somewhere with the guards and truthfully I think deep down unbeknownst by even him is Todd's need for someone to want to see him who doesn't condemn him straight off. Although he needs Rebecca to further his plan Of "Todd the new man who's found religion" inside Todd needs to have someone on his side who isn't judging him for past sins. Rebecca fills those shoes. Although Todd was putting on a show for the guards and other prisoners I like to think that somewhere behind his facade Todd was already changing especially when he could talk to Rebecca..of course at this point he merely thinks Rebecca is a means to an end.
