For this game/fun activity, you just write a fantasy scene you'd love to see, whether or not it could ever happen. You don't have to wait for someone else to post anything specific, just go ahead and post!
RH and TSJ are on screen together, it's about not the first time that they have shared the screen, so it's not the big dramatic moment and things have settled in a bit. Clearly this is a while after his return is revealed.
RH is in a tight turtle neck (yum) and TSJ is in his usual garb, but it's a little snugger than always.
RH enters the room, gestures like he's annoyed and wants to leave the room and turns to go, then stops and goes back, saying, "look at this picture. YOU were passing yourself off as me? Try working on those pecs, or whatever they are" grimaces and walks out.
The scene: "Todd/Walker is sitting at his desk wearing his usual casual suit talking to Kelly about the next story. Suddenly the door slams open and in storms Todd all gorgeous in his three piece suit . Stands there in true Todd form glaring as Kelly jumps and turns around looking back and forth between the two Todds. Abruptly Todd says in his own Cryptic way "Get Out!" Kelly immediately leaves the office. Todd watches her leave and turns back to "Todd/Walker" and says "I meant You!.
It's Christmas Morning at Vicki's all the family has gathered for the opening of Christmas presents and Charlie is playiing Santa...He goes to the tree and picks up a gift , He says...Here's one from Jessica...To my Favorite Uncle" From two different sides of the room voices chime in "That's Mine" Everyone stops what they are doing as two Men approach the Gift..Todd angrily says "I'm her favorite Uncle. I saved her Life" Walker says" You're not the only one who saved her and I was here when She had her meltdown" the Men start to say more and suddenly Vicki pipes in "Enough you two behave...YOU're both her favorite Uncles!" and Vicki raises up a second Gift.
It's a mid February day, Blair and Tomas (TK) have been searching, using the clues left hidden in the items given in the box that Eli left for Blair.
Finally, they approach a huge marble building, covered in vines, there is a giant marble and metal door that is sealed shut. Prepared, Tomas pulls out plastic explosives large enough to bust the door but not destroy the building.
Inside, a character is hanging from his hands, which are chained to the wall, head hanging over. We can tell it's a man, because he has his shirt off (snicker) but his hair is long and hanging down covering his face.
After the blast, he stirs but is too weak to speak or move.
Tomas turns to Blair "Are you sure?"
Blair, knowing it's not Victor's REAL tomb, but a facsimile placed by Mitch, realizes that she may walk in to the place of Real Todd's actual death and find him still there, lifeless.
"Yes. I have to know."
Music: instrumental part of Enigma's "Gravity of Love," softly so viewers can barely hear it but those who know, KNOW.
Back inside the makeshift tomb, a skeleton lies next to the chained man, whose head is still lowered. As they push the remnants of the door open, sunlight cascades into the room and he raises his head weakly, just enough for us to see the SUN hit the scar and as the camera moves closer, those eyes. Black.
(It's a Friday, and that's the cliffhanger scene.)
Sunset on an isolated tomb. Two paople standing outside. Tomas reaches into his pack pulls out the detonator. Suddenly the door is rocked by an explosion. Tomas turns to Blair "You're sure!" Blair gingerly nods and the two of them pull the door off it's hinges Sunlight streams in to reveal a lone man hanging by Shackles. He suddenly looks up. camera pans to take in the view from his vantage point. Standing in the Door he sees a vision surrounded in light as the sunset frames her He utters one Word "Blair" and passes out. " My God" screams Blair and she rushes to his side. "It's him Tomas! It 's not possible but it's Him ! Help Me!
HE KNOWS HER? He says "Blair" the way he said it when he was shot in Ireland.
They rush into the tomb, Blair is inconsolable, crying, hysterical, Tomas, Tea's cousin, is attempting to help. The explosion rocked everything harder than they figured, and the walls begin to crumble. But how to get his chains loose?
In a cabin somewhere, Mitch Laurence is at the table, talking to an unknown face. "Eli was the wrong person for the job. I do make my mistakes on occasion. You understand that."
The tables turn to reveal Carlo Hesser. "Yes, Mr. Laurence, or The Messenger, if you prefer. We do make mistakes, and you have made your last."
Scene returns to tomb. Unresponsive, Todd hangs from his wrists and in her hysteria, Blair looks up to see a medieval-style axe as a wall-hanging. She stumbles back over Victor's bones and screams. In his haste, Tomas grabs it and begins to chop at the chains. "Hurry, we don't have time. Oh my God! Todd!" He does not respond.
Back in Llanview, TSJ is eating dinner, his belly is hitting the edge of the table. Tea says "can't we do what other couples do? Let's go to the gym and work out or something."
He looks at her deadpan. "pass the potatoes."
Meanwhile, back at the tomb, as the walls crumble, Todd finally is loosed, and tumbles onto the ground, face up, unconscious, revealing his scar and others. "Oh My God, look at him!" Blair cries, going to his side, "Todd, can you hear me?" He does not respond.
Tomas hoists him over one shoulder and they depart, just as the tomb crumbles to the ground.
Opening Tuesday's show The cabin Carlo remarks"You have made your last mistake." Mitch looks up alarmed as Carlo gestures and two men suddenly grab both of his arms. " What 's the meaning of this, how dare you manhandle the Messenger this way." " Don't Worry Mitch. You still are useful for one last play in this game. Take him out for now. Let him spend his last days praying but don't let him out of your sight" replies Carlo. Carlo then turns and says to himself, " Let's put the final play in motion" He then presses a button on the computer in front of him.
Meanwhile at the Manning household Todd suddenly grabs his head and collapses out of his chair. Tea rushes over but can get no response from her husband....
Landview hospital... Doctors to Tea..."He's alive but unresponsive ."" He's in a coma but there is strange activity going on in his brain." Tea looks on helplessly and knows she should make some calls.
Elsewhere in another Hospital...Blair anxiously awaits news about Todd's condition Tomas and Blair stand up when the Doctor comes out of the emergency room..." Where has this man been...His condition is serious but he seems to be responding to treatment"" He's starting to wake up." "Doctor, I need to see him,to talk to him . It's important." says Blair "You can go in but I'm not sure you'll get much out of him right now." says the Doctor Blair turns to Tomas "You need to call Tea. She needs to know." Blair enters the room Todd is so still and hooked up to all sorts of Machinery as she approaches the bed she sees his eyes begin to open. She draws closer..." Todd" she whispers "Todd , It's me Blair..." Todd just looks at her showing no reaction at all . Then in a croak you can hardly hear he says" Who are You? " scene fades to black
The scene: Strange Hospital ER It's quiet...just the beat and sound coming from the machinery ... a man lies still on the bed no movement no sound but his labored breathing. Blair is sitting next to the bed...the door to the room opens Blair turns... Tomas walks into the room "What's happening? Has he said anything?" Tomas says " He woke briefly. Oh Tomas...He didn't know me...Is this Real? Am I looking at Todd? What's going on!?" says Blair "Did you get a call out to Tea?" Tomas looks at Blair and replies "I made the call but only reached Dani...Tea's at the Hospital with Todd...He collapsed last Night""Dani doesn't know much of anything...I'm as baffled as you are! YOU say this is Todd but I thought Todd was with Tea???"
Back in Landview Vicki has arrived spots Tea " What's Happened" Tea looks back helplessly " I don't know Vicki. We were having dinner...Suddenly he grabbed his head and went down....the Doctors can't figure out what is wrong. They say he's in a coma...What does it all Mean!"
scene...Landview University Starr and Langston discussing roster of classes ahead of them... Starr"Oh darn, I've got psychology 101 with a new Professor ...a Mr Perkins have you heard anything about him?" Langston:"Only thing I heard was that he's got quite a look.. a lot of the girls are gaga bout him. " "Well, the class starts in ten minutes I guess I better scoot" says Starr Minutes later Starr enters the room and heads for a chair near the front of the hall so she can get a good look at this Professor. From the back of the room a voice suddenly booms out" All right Class...Who can tell me about Sigmund Freud" Starr freezes: that voice...she knows that voice...She slowly turns to find the source of that voice...There standing at the back of the Room is a Tall distinguished Gentleman with long hair to his shoulders sporting a goatee and a very magnetic Scar on his Cheek. It can't be!! Starr slowly stands turns and faces him ..She utters one word "Dad!" and faints.
January 2011 Blair enters Dorians living room, spys the box still sitting under the tree. "Oh well, I'm just going to have to bite the bullet and get this over with..." blair grabs up the box, sets it on her lapand reaches forthe chain around her neck. She removes the key she's been keeping there and opens the box. Nothing happens and she breathes a sigh of relief..there are only two items in the box tied together.an envelope and a brownwrapped pkg. The envelope is addressed to her so she gingerly removes the pkg..She unwraps what appears to be a small jewelry box...opens it and inside she finds a very familiar chain with an equally familiar safe deposit key... "What is going on.. How did Eli get these" she says to herself. With hands shaking Blair reaches for the Envelope. It is addressed to Blair Daimler and is postmarked Geneva Feb.14 2010 There is a Valentines Day card so she opens it and almost drops the Card ...Written in handwriting she hasn't seen in some time are the words "To My Unforgettable One I Love You Simply Your Funny Valentine" Stunned Blairbegins to cry
Kim's Next Fantasy Scene, with Inspiration from Trinity:
A man walks into The Banner offices. He's carrying a list and a pencil is behind one ear. Stopping in the lobby, he says, "I have an appointment to see Ms. Banks."
"Just a moment sir, your name?"
"Ted. Ted Lampley."
"Just a moment. She says you may go right up."
Outside Viki's office, the secretary once again asks his name. As he reports it, he sees the woman smile with acceptance. "You may go in Mr. Lampley."
Viki Banks is embroiled in reading some material from the recipe page of The Banner. Aloud she says, "potato stew?" Then without looking up, "Come in Mr. Lampley, what can I do for you?" Standing up with her eyes still fixed on the page, she extends her hand before seeing him.
In finally raising her eyes, she immediately falls to the floor.
Ted looks at her, lying there, and picked the pencil from behind his ear. Crossing out The Banner on his list, he says "well, this is out of the question," and moves to the next name on the list.
In proceeding to the Manning Building, Ted talks to himself about confidence and image. When allowed inside, he finds he's somehow not nervous, and proceeds to the elevators.
He enters the elevator, straightening his tie. Looking at the reflection in the door, he pauses for a minute, with a strange expression as he sees himself reflected in the glistening doors.
Just a few weeks back, he had found himself in Angel Square. He knew he had been wandering, but he had no idea where from. He could not remember much. He remembered a silver-haired old woman, with a kind face, blind, sitting across from him. He heard himself tell her his name, and it stuck.
Knowing his life had something to do with the news field, he had made a painstaking list of area papers where he might get a job. He needed a job, didn't he? He couldn't very well figure his life out without one. So here he was.
Two large doors loom before him and he pushes one open. At the desk, a man, looks up from his work. He's visibily startled, but composes himself. He extends his hand. "Todd Manning."
"Ted Lampley."
Ted sits. The man across from him stares for a moment. "What can I do for you, Mr. Lampley?"
"I'm here about a job."
The man stops. Looks. Then says, pedantically, "can you excuse me for one moment?"
Ted shrugs. "Of course."
The man proceeds into the hallway and makes a call frantically on his cell phone. "The worst has happened. Now what?"
I threw the Ted in there, when I needed a name for his 5th personality. :D
Trin made up the idea of him having another personality and living as that person for the last 7 years, going to Viki for a job. I added in the part about TSJ that is coming.
Ted wakes up in a nicely furnished room. He does not know his surroundings, but as his eyes adjust, he does know who is there. The man, the one at the last newspaper, The Sun, that he tried to get a job from.
"Hey listen, I don't need the job that bad. Can you untie me? I gotta go."
The man, emotionless, stands over him. Ted is tied to a chair, in the center of the room. It reminds him of something, he just can't place it, but he thinks he has seen the room before.
"You aren't going anywhere. You think I don't know what you're doing?"
Ted is baffled. And he's feeling a tightness in his chest again, just like when he woke up in Angel Square. Just like that dream he has, that he wakes from often, where he's someone else, locked in a dungeon with a rotting corpse, in the dark, alone. No, he mustn't think of that . . .
"I know what you are doing. You're not fooling me."
"Ok, what am I doing?"
The man stares him down. Ted remains transfixed, does not falter.
"What are you doing?" He's sarcastic and hateful now. "How about I bring Starr in here and kill her? Will you get it then?"
Ted flinches at the man's tone and harshness and looks to the floor. He raises his eyes again, and simply says "Who's Starr and why would you kill her?"
I just realized that Ted could be an alter, and Ted also could be Todd FAKING that he does not remember. Interesting eh? We would be wondering if he was pulling the DID fake again, or if it was real the whole time.
Marty is highly sedated in the mental institute that she has been put in. After the meltdown at John and Natalie's wedding and Todd trying to keep her from her grandchild and the murder of the Ford's father......Todd was successful in getting her committed too an mental institute outside of Llanview.
As she sits on her bed in a constant fog from the medications......she thinks about Cole constantly.......his time in Llanview.....his time as a young child in Ireland with his father .....growing up.......and the time when she announced she was pregnant in Llanview many years ago........she thinks about seeing Todd and Tea at the Palace Hotel when she told Todd she was pregnant.....the look on his face. Then she remembers the day Patrick "died" at Todd's penthouse.....all because of Todd's evil revenge. And it would have work if Patrick wouldn't have known better.......but instead he knew what Todd's plan was and was prepared......which lead to their happy family far away from Todd and Llanview.
Marty thinks about all of her life and her troubles.......and they all go back to Todd Manning. She continues to mumble about killing Todd and getting rid of all the problems she's had......and she gets a weird feeling.....the kind of feeling that makes the hair stand up on your neck.
She looks up........and shes a man passing by her room....brown shoulder length hair.....that walk...those eyes......it couldn't be! She falls asleep with nightmares of Todd as the meds take over her brain.
The next day......she thinks it was all a bad dream........until THAT man shows up in her doorway! "My name is Tim Moore.....sorry to bother you. But I noticed you are new here.....and I know it sounds strange....but something told me to come and say Hi".
Marty can't believe her eyes......maybe Todd is right......she really is crazy! But she knows who that man is standing in front of her......and he can't be up to any good!
The man walks toward Marty's bed but he gets no verbal response.......but he continues toward her because something in him feels very familiar with this woman. He moves closer to her and that is the last he remembers.....everything goes black.
Marty sees that man approaching her in the bed and every instinct in her is to fight. She grabs a heavy tray next to her bed and swings as hard as she can. Than man falls to the floor with a huge gash in the side of his head and face as the blood starts to run on the floor.
The orderlies rush in after hearing the noise in Marty's room......and find the man on the floor....bleeding badly.....and Marty shaking furiously on the bed! "We need to get him down to the ER stat" the orderlies yell as they get the man on a stretcher......."what happened here" they ask Marty.
She just rocks on her bed with no audible response to the orderlies. They have no time to waste and wheel the injured man off. They will get the story later because Ms Saybrooke isn't going anywhere soon. As the orderlies leave the room, Marty mumble to herself over and over.........."I need to go with you........he'll need my blood"..............
Ok something new, but not really. Back to this "Tomas" idea. What if he seems nice and on track, but really is involved with the brainwashing/captive storyline, and really gets close to Blair to hurt her, while someone must come to save and rescue her, but cannot remember who he is. This is not to say they have to be romantically paired, at all. Once he rescues her, he will KNOW that everyone has betrayed him and he hates them, he hates them all! (a quote that I use often). He will go into bitterness mode. Andrew will come back for a few shows to talk Todd into therapy.
That's my new what if. Not something I WANT. My fave is the one we wrote this weekend with Trinity's input, about him coming back to get a job and dousing memories, etc. But, thinking how TPTB think....this is what I am what iffing.
"What do you mean, someone has bought up enough shares of BE stock to have the controlling interest....How the Hell did that happen! Get me the names of this investor ! Now!" Clint storms out.
Over in the Manning Building we hear " Kelly, what the Hell is going on...Every story I've put into the computer for Print has suddenly been rejected and I've been locked out" says Todd Kelly replies " There's been some sort of Hostile takeover everything is shut down!"
Suddenly a messenger appears at Todd's door " Mr. Manning..." and hands him an envelope.. he opens it gingerly the last time he received an envelope in the mail it was bad news...
Dear Mr. Manning. You are cordially invited to cocktails and Dinner at the Palace Hotel at Which time I will be delighted to introduce myself and please bring your charming wife.

Starr"Oh darn, I've got psychology 101 with a new Professor ...a Mr Perkins have you heard anything about him?"
Langston:"Only thing I heard was that he's got quite a look.. a lot of the girls are gaga bout him. "
"Well, the class starts in ten minutes I guess I better scoot" says Starr
Minutes later Starr enters the room and heads for a chair near the front of the hall so she can get a good look at this Professor.
From the back of the room a voice suddenly booms out" All right Class...Who can tell me about Sigmund Freud"
Starr freezes: that voice...she knows that voice...She slowly turns to find the source of that voice...There standing at the back of the Room is a Tall distinguished Gentleman with long hair to his shoulders sporting a goatee and a very magnetic Scar on his Cheek.
It can't be!! Starr slowly stands turns and faces him ..She utters one word "Dad!" and faints.

ReplyDeleteBlair enters Dorians living room, spys the box still sitting under the tree. "Oh well, I'm just going to have to bite the bullet and get this over with..." blair grabs up the box, sets it on her lapand reaches forthe chain around her neck. She removes the key she's been keeping there and opens the box. Nothing happens and she breathes a sigh of relief..there are only two items in the box tied together.an envelope and a brownwrapped pkg. The envelope is addressed to her so she gingerly removes the pkg..She unwraps what appears to be a small jewelry box...opens it and inside she finds a very familiar chain with an equally familiar safe deposit key... "What is going on.. How did Eli get these" she says to herself. With hands shaking Blair reaches for the Envelope. It is addressed to Blair Daimler and is postmarked Geneva Feb.14 2010 There is a Valentines Day card so she opens it and almost drops the Card ...Written in handwriting she hasn't seen in some time are the words "To My Unforgettable One I Love You Simply Your Funny Valentine" Stunned Blairbegins to cry

ReplyDeleteA man walks into The Banner offices. He's carrying a list and a pencil is behind one ear. Stopping in the lobby, he says, "I have an appointment to see Ms. Banks."
"Just a moment sir, your name?"
"Ted. Ted Lampley."
"Just a moment. She says you may go right up."
Outside Viki's office, the secretary once again asks his name. As he reports it, he sees the woman smile with acceptance. "You may go in Mr. Lampley."
Viki Banks is embroiled in reading some material from the recipe page of The Banner. Aloud she says, "potato stew?" Then without looking up, "Come in Mr. Lampley, what can I do for you?" Standing up with her eyes still fixed on the page, she extends her hand before seeing him.
In finally raising her eyes, she immediately falls to the floor.
Ted looks at her, lying there, and picked the pencil from behind his ear. Crossing out The Banner on his list, he says "well, this is out of the question," and moves to the next name on the list.
In proceeding to the Manning Building, Ted talks to himself about confidence and image. When allowed inside, he finds he's somehow not nervous, and proceeds to the elevators.
He enters the elevator, straightening his tie. Looking at the reflection in the door, he pauses for a minute, with a strange expression as he sees himself reflected in the glistening doors.
Just a few weeks back, he had found himself in Angel Square. He knew he had been wandering, but he had no idea where from. He could not remember much. He remembered a silver-haired old woman, with a kind face, blind, sitting across from him. He heard himself tell her his name, and it stuck.
Knowing his life had something to do with the news field, he had made a painstaking list of area papers where he might get a job. He needed a job, didn't he? He couldn't very well figure his life out without one. So here he was.
Two large doors loom before him and he pushes one open. At the desk, a man, looks up from his work. He's visibily startled, but composes himself. He extends his hand. "Todd Manning."
"Ted Lampley."
Ted sits. The man across from him stares for a moment. "What can I do for you, Mr. Lampley?"
"I'm here about a job."
The man stops. Looks. Then says, pedantically, "can you excuse me for one moment?"
Ted shrugs. "Of course."
The man proceeds into the hallway and makes a call frantically on his cell phone. "The worst has happened. Now what?"

ReplyDeleteTrin made up the idea of him having another personality and living as that person for the last 7 years, going to Viki for a job. I added in the part about TSJ that is coming.

Part TWO
ReplyDeleteTed wakes up in a nicely furnished room. He does not know his surroundings, but as his eyes adjust, he does know who is there. The man, the one at the last newspaper, The Sun, that he tried to get a job from.
"Hey listen, I don't need the job that bad. Can you untie me? I gotta go."
The man, emotionless, stands over him. Ted is tied to a chair, in the center of the room. It reminds him of something, he just can't place it, but he thinks he has seen the room before.
"You aren't going anywhere. You think I don't know what you're doing?"
Ted is baffled. And he's feeling a tightness in his chest again, just like when he woke up in Angel Square. Just like that dream he has, that he wakes from often, where he's someone else, locked in a dungeon with a rotting corpse, in the dark, alone. No, he mustn't think of that . . .
"I know what you are doing. You're not fooling me."
"Ok, what am I doing?"
The man stares him down. Ted remains transfixed, does not falter.
"What are you doing?" He's sarcastic and hateful now. "How about I bring Starr in here and kill her? Will you get it then?"
Ted flinches at the man's tone and harshness and looks to the floor. He raises his eyes again, and simply says "Who's Starr and why would you kill her?"
I just realized that Ted could be an alter, and Ted also could be Todd FAKING that he does not remember. Interesting eh? We would be wondering if he was pulling the DID fake again, or if it was real the whole time.

OK....here goes.....shortened version!
ReplyDeleteMarty is highly sedated in the mental institute that she has been put in. After the meltdown at John and Natalie's wedding and Todd trying to keep her from her grandchild and the murder of the Ford's father......Todd was successful in getting her committed too an mental institute outside of Llanview.
As she sits on her bed in a constant fog from the medications......she thinks about Cole constantly.......his time in Llanview.....his time as a young child in Ireland with his father .....growing up.......and the time when she announced she was pregnant in Llanview many years ago........she thinks about seeing Todd and Tea at the Palace Hotel when she told Todd she was pregnant.....the look on his face. Then she remembers the day Patrick "died" at Todd's penthouse.....all because of Todd's evil revenge. And it would have work if Patrick wouldn't have known better.......but instead he knew what Todd's plan was and was prepared......which lead to their happy family far away from Todd and Llanview.
Marty thinks about all of her life and her troubles.......and they all go back to Todd Manning. She continues to mumble about killing Todd and getting rid of all the problems she's had......and she gets a weird feeling.....the kind of feeling that makes the hair stand up on your neck.
She looks up........and shes a man passing by her room....brown shoulder length hair.....that walk...those eyes......it couldn't be! She falls asleep with nightmares of Todd as the meds take over her brain.
The next day......she thinks it was all a bad dream........until THAT man shows up in her doorway! "My name is Tim Moore.....sorry to bother you. But I noticed you are new here.....and I know it sounds strange....but something told me to come and say Hi".
Marty can't believe her eyes......maybe Todd is right......she really is crazy! But she knows who that man is standing in front of her......and he can't be up to any good!
The man walks toward Marty's bed but he gets no verbal response.......but he continues toward her because something in him feels very familiar with this woman. He moves closer to her and that is the last he remembers.....everything goes black.
Marty sees that man approaching her in the bed and every instinct in her is to fight. She grabs a heavy tray next to her bed and swings as hard as she can. Than man falls to the floor with a huge gash in the side of his head and face as the blood starts to run on the floor.
The orderlies rush in after hearing the noise in Marty's room......and find the man on the floor....bleeding badly.....and Marty shaking furiously on the bed! "We need to get him down to the ER stat" the orderlies yell as they get the man on a stretcher......."what happened here" they ask Marty.
She just rocks on her bed with no audible response to the orderlies. They have no time to waste and wheel the injured man off. They will get the story later because Ms Saybrooke isn't going anywhere soon. As the orderlies leave the room, Marty mumble to herself over and over.........."I need to go with you........he'll need my blood"..............
OOOH NICE. Now can I change the name and connect this to Ted Lampley????? PLEASE and add to our story??
ReplyDeleteOk something new, but not really. Back to this "Tomas" idea. What if he seems nice and on track, but really is involved with the brainwashing/captive storyline, and really gets close to Blair to hurt her, while someone must come to save and rescue her, but cannot remember who he is. This is not to say they have to be romantically paired, at all. Once he rescues her, he will KNOW that everyone has betrayed him and he hates them, he hates them all! (a quote that I use often). He will go into bitterness mode. Andrew will come back for a few shows to talk Todd into therapy.
ReplyDeleteThat's my new what if. Not something I WANT. My fave is the one we wrote this weekend with Trinity's input, about him coming back to get a job and dousing memories, etc. But, thinking how TPTB think....this is what I am what iffing.

Over in the Manning Building we hear " Kelly, what the Hell is going on...Every story I've put into the computer for Print has suddenly been rejected and I've been locked out" says Todd
Kelly replies " There's been some sort of Hostile takeover everything is shut down!"
Suddenly a messenger appears at Todd's door " Mr. Manning..." and hands him an envelope.. he opens it gingerly the last time he received an envelope in the mail it was bad news...
Dear Mr. Manning.
You are cordially invited to cocktails and Dinner at the Palace Hotel at Which time I will be delighted to introduce myself and please bring your charming wife.
