"Today I decided to watch some clips of RH on OLTL in '03 and what I never connected or realized was that Evangeline came on as Mitch's atty in '03. Am I being silly by thinking that maybe Eli knew more about what happened to Todd than the audience thinks he does? We know that Van worked for Mitch... we know that Eli knew Van before coming to Llanview... The Eli storyline felt like it only scratched the surface. It was so convoluted already and then they throw in that Van knew Eli back when he was using a different name and he jumps thru hoops to make sure her family pulls the plug on her and now, months after Eli's been dead Blair gets the painting from him thats a 15 year old picture of her painted in '03... Also, everyone involved was connected to Todd but the story was made to look like Eli was just some opportunistic killer who just wanted Blair's money... there are plenty of easier marks w/ way more money than Blair in Llanview.
The whole thing smacked of vengance and I can only think of one person who would risk the health/sanity and security of women he claims he loves/loved out sheer vengance... thats got my boo written all over it. Folks can say what they want, but Original Gangsta Todd would hate Tea for what she did regarding Dani and part of me thinks he would consider killing her for a betrayl of that magnitude. At the last minute he wouldn't but he would seriously think about killing her and probably come really close.
I'd like to know what you guys think of the Van/Eli/Mitch connection and if there are any holes w/ that? I wasn't watching regularly and it was 8 years ago so I am really fuzzy about how everything went down w/ Todd before and after his return as Walker."
