Remember when Jessica was watchable (not to mention Clint's daughter)? Sigh.
LOVE IT! Todd's in her room and they are outside the door! Duh nah! Rebecca's dress is on the floor and she's not the least bit concerned. LOL.
LOVE the MARTY and JESS connection. So perfect.
Todd, such a stalker. He watches them kiss. I want to puke, he probably does too.
WHY did they let go of Erin Torpey???? WHY WHY WHY? She's so great in these clips, and I personally LOVE when a character grows up on a soap! Perfect!

FAIL: Powell trying to get into Rebecca's room. Sigh.

You know ,you had to feel for Todd, he risked everything to come back to Llanview for Rebecca and he's forced to watch her as she gets closer to Powell everyday. You can understand the anger building in Todd concerning Powell. From his point of view everyone just washed their minds clean of the fact that Powell was also a rapist. Powell's strutting around town planning a date with Rebecca like he never took part in Marty's rape.
ReplyDeleteNo one is letting Todd forget what he did but they are not only forgetting but their forgiving Powell, but they're actually patting him on the back and telling him he just made a mistake and he's doing the right thing getting his life back on track.
It was interesting to watch our sweet Jessica, she was trying so hard to be the rebel, she's upset because her mother and father are separating so she's acting out. She's such a sweet girl that it's hard for her to really rebel. Even when Marty gives her a dose of reality, Jessica is still wrapped up in her hurt about her parents, so as soon as Marty leaves Jessica's back to trying to be a bad girl. Poor Jessie she never does truly become a bad girl till the rewrite later produces Tess.
I thought ET left on her own... Grew up and decided she didnt want be an actress, ya know.

ReplyDeleteIt's actually not fair at all. I remember in one of my commentaries, I wrote about how Powell had so much support and Todd lost everything. They both committed the same act, however, Powell was guided through it with the love and support of family, while Todd had NO ONE but Rebecca.
