During the rape trial, Todd, on the stand, tells Marty that he forgives her.
ReplyDeleteAt The GBW, Todd asks Vicki to stay, interrupted by CJ who says, "Bride or Groom?" Vicki says, "The Groom. He's my brother."
ReplyDeleteTodd speaks to Vicki for the first time since his return from Ireland, at the cemetery. "No good deed goes unpunished"
ReplyDeleteWhen Blair lost their first baby. Todd comes to the hospital. Where is she? Where is my wife? Blair is crying my baby my baby. When Todd hears the truth. He says Blair lost my baby. And he learns it was a son. He cries and I cry with him. And then he has to tell Blair. How hard it was to tell her. when he finally is able to tell Blair their baby is gone. She cries and he stiffly holds her. I loved them.
ReplyDeleteHi All! This is Jackie Fuentes from Twitter. :)
ReplyDeleteOne of the most memorable moments for me has to be when Todd confronted Viki, who was Tori at the time. He insisted on her telling him everything about their father, Victor Lord. His words were biting, but he had no idea just how much-
"You were his first born. His princess. You had all the love, and kisses, and candy."
Tori's face was turning into every shade imaginable. You could see her anger and fear at Todd discovering Viki's horrible secret. Then she bursts into-
"WHAT DO YOU KNOW?!" YOU DON'T KNOW ANYTHING. NOTHING AT ALL!"
I had already been enjoying Roger Howarth and Erika Slezak's scenes together, but this was the first time I was BLOWN AWAY!!!
One of my favorite moments was the episode where Max tracks down Luna at the Winter Lodge on Valentine's Day and he comes out of the woods to find Luna standing on the porch with the Snow falling. They enter and make passionate Love for the first time.
ReplyDeleteOne of the storylines I liked and chose to believe is Todd's DID storyline, I believe when they gave us the scene of Todd on the plane they were telling us his alters were real and he was aware of them.
ReplyDeleteThe Gabrielle Baby Switch Trial - Gabrielle breaks down on the witness stand. OMG, I can still hear her crying "I'm so sorry." Awesome! Max comforts her in the lobby of the courthouse, much to Ms. Megan Gordon's chagrin. Loved Max and Gabrielle A LOT.
ReplyDeleteMy second one for today is, of course, a Todd one. Blair returns from "being" with Sam, just to find out she can't for obvious reasons. She says "I know you love me, even thought you can't say it."
ReplyDelete"I love you." And the look on him is....well....you know.
She cries. "I love you, Todd. And I forgive you." Cue the hands, they walk up the stairs and it fades out.
OMG. I will NEVER not love them.
It's my fault, I upped it to three per day. Last one.
ReplyDeleteVicki, in therapy with her doctor at a facility outside of town, is shown the truth about her father by her alters. I especially loved Tori during those scenes. Such perfect work by Slezak.
Ok, get to posting yours!
The end of the hospital rapist sl. After Powell had been removed from the scene, his conversation with Marty. He apologized again, saying he knew he'd apologized before, but he'd never really understood before just what he'd done to her. Now he knew, He knew he was a monster. And he didn't want to be anymore. That he was TIRED. Tired of the anger, the fighting and didn't know if he could do it anymore.
ReplyDeleteThe intensity, the emotion, blew me away.
Another day, more memories.
ReplyDeleteMy next one is the day that Megan died in Jake's arms, looking out the window at their tree. Blubber.
Todd and Blair share a Christmas Gift that starts it all.....
ReplyDeleteFantastic scenes between Roger and Kassie that sparked off the chemistry of a life time.
Todd and Blair celebrate the New Year, interrupted by a blackout....until he decides to tell her what he should have done at midnight and plants a long-awaited kiss.
ReplyDeleteKaren Wolek has to admit on the witness stand that she is a prostitute. Amazing. Yes, I was watching when it actually happened.
ReplyDeleteTodd testifies in court as Rodd, Ms. Perkins, Tom and...finally, Pete, who JACKS UP TOWERING HANK GANNON by the shirt collar!
ReplyDeletewhen todd punched tea in the face. favorite memory of life.
ReplyDeleteI loved the story arc where Todd “pretended” to have DID. I especially liked his last scene (in 1998, I believe) when he was on the plane, leaving Llanview and did all the parts, including the stewardess with his hair piled up on his head. It was just how I imagined Todd would make himself look like a woman. His range just floors me. Some of those change were so fast, too.
ReplyDeleteThe bitch is blind: Todd abou Nora
ReplyDeleteThe first one that pops into my head is, "you killed SAM?" ...Todd's last words before disappearing for 8 years thanks to Mitch. Actually, his real last words were, "yeah, you go to hell"...but I just remember how brilliantly he said those 3 words in response to Mitch telling him he'd killed Sam, whom he was feuding with at the time. And after he'd signed on with ATWT, I really never thought I'd see him again, but I always held onto that slight hope...and against all odds, it happened.
ReplyDeleteSo for that, despite the cancellation, I am thankful.
Mine today was the moment that Todd saw Starr for the first time
ReplyDeleteI have two favorites between Todd and Vicki the first is when Vicki almost strikes Kevin and Todd comforts her bcause he knows about anger and that's when she tells him tori kill Victor
ReplyDeleteMy second is when he comes home with the video of Jessica singing on the road after he finds out his sister has Cancer and Her hair is just starring to come out from the chemo and he again tries in his Todd way to comfort her saying they'll get her wigs all different coors and some of his favority people are Bald like Mussolini, Dr. Evil; to me those scenes are priceless.
The old Todd Manning's return.Roger's return to ONE LIFE TO LIVE is my favorite soap moment.Eight years too long I've waited for his return. He is my favorite actor and my favorite character.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite OLTL moment is a Todd Manning moment. It was during the time Todd was on trial for holding the Buchanan hostage at the lodge with the fake bomb. He was also faking DID and he was on the stand switching back and forth between alters. He talked openly about the abuse he had suffered at the hands of Peter Manning. Roger was just unbelieve in that storyline.
ReplyDeleteAnother timeless moment on OLTL for me is the death of Luna. I did not care for the character at all, but her death bed scenes with Blair, in which she forgives the latter, were just the most fantastic scenes. Also, the romantic way she left the earth was very beautiful, even though I did not care for her as a character.
ReplyDeleteThere was a scene, I think it was in 1993, just before Roger left again. Todd and Blair were arguing about Sam Rappaport and Todd’s new intern, Shawna. It was typical Todd and Blair sassing at each other. Blair asked him: “You think I still want you? Are you nuts?” And Todd casually replied, “That’s like two completely separate questions.” I just love the ease between them and the comic relief. Kassie is so good, she just walked right over it. Perfect!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the storyline where Vicki met Ben at the Crossroads. It was all kind of kismet, mysterious and exciting and yet relaxed and easy. I always liked Mel Hayes and I believe he played a part in this, even if just to convince Vicki to follow the guidance she was getting.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I'll ever forget the last scene of the last show.
