Again if you haven’t seen the episode, you’ve missed some exciting dialog and thrilling scenes. These are the kinds of shows which leave you breathless. Must see!
Starr and Michael had a revealing conversation. Starr was stomping mad that Michael had not told her what his father had done. Michael explained that they couldn’t be sure it was Sonny. Anthony Zacchara was a bad man and had lots of enemies. He’d say anything to blame Michael’s dad. He swore to Starr that he didn’t know Sonny might have done it. Michael wanted to believe his father wouldn’t lie to him. “He’s not always guilty,” Michael said. And, he went on to say that even if he was he was still his father and he loved him. Starr had to admit she understood that. She said she told her dad to leave when he came to see her because he had done some bad things. But he didn’t listen. As her dad talked to her, Starr realized that it didn’t matter. She needed him. Michael said if his dad was guilty, he’d pay. He was being arraigned that day. Starr said she had to go and tell them what she knew. Michael understood and said she had a right to do that. He’d drive her to the courthouse.
Blair and Carly had a fun talk. Blair tried to warn Carly that Todd is “volatile and dangerous.” But Carly said she was sure Sonny could take care of himself. They both confessed they were the ex wives of these dangerous men. Blair said that Starr didn’t need him, but Carly thought Starr was very important to him. Blair said he always convinced Starr to believe him and then he’d let her down. Carly shared that they can divorce them, but their kids can’t. They were bonding right and left. Isn’t it awful to see their traits come out in your kids? Carly asked. How many times had they each been married to the same guy? They exchanged stories of what put an end to their marriages. Then they toasted to never looking back. But as they drank more, they started to talk about how romantic and sexy they both were. Blair said Todd always remembered the important stuff. He can be generous, too. Carly commented on how alive they are. No! They were not going to do that. Blair said if Todd wasn’t the father of her children, she’d kill him.
Somewhere in there Steve Hardy confessed to killing someone in a coma. At the police department, they still seemed to be dancing around Dante’s partner. Johnny Zacchara came in wondering why they let Sonny off on bail. Kate, seeking help, ended up with the local psychologist. I’m afraid I didn’t listen.
Faced with Todd querying him if he was Sonny Corinnthus, Sonny asked who wanted to know. Todd answered the father of the girl he put in the hospital and the grandfather of the little girl he killed. Sonny calmly said he was sorry for his loss. Todd retorted that he wanted justice. Sonny pointed out that justice did not equal him. Sonny tried to leave but Todd would not let him. Sonny told him he didn’t want to shoot him. Sonny continued saying he had compassion for what Todd was going through. Todd responded that he knew what he could do with his compassion. Todd explained that Sonny had never been held accountable for anything he’d done.
“I’m Todd Manning, you son of a bitch!” Todd declared. (I do wonder if anyone has ever stood up to Sonny like this.) Sonny taunted him, saying Todd wouldn’t kill him and he’d never get out alive. Todd said he didn’t care, as long as the man who killed his daughter’s family was dead, that would be fine with him.
Todd went on to say he thought Port Charles was a cute town, though he hadn’t seen any port. It was also an easy town to get a gun. He laughed derisively, Of course, Sonny knew that. Wasn’t it ironic that Sonny would make money from the gun Todd bought to kill him?
Sonny, in his annoyingly calm way, asked what Todd wanted him to do. “Just die you child killing bastard!” (That’s telling him.) Sonny tried to appeal to him by telling Todd that his son got shot at that night. Todd started to cry and squeezed out that he couldn’t fix it for his daughter. Then he got it together and said that he could give her justice. Sonny said he was innocent. Todd responded by saying they are all innocent.
Just then Blair ran in and told Todd to stop. Starr, too. Todd told Starr he was doing it for her. I think I heard the gun go off.
Wow! This is some exciting stuff!
