Todd and Tea clash! Todd wasn’t sure what Tea’s motives were. He thought she was going to send Starr to prison to get back at him. Tea was quite sure Todd murdered her husband, but she was there to help Starr. Todd, of course, didn’t help much by not being at all sorry that Victor was gone. He was sorry that Tea had to raise her baby alone, though. Tea was having nothing of his pity! She didn’t buy the PTSD claim for a moment. She was certain he knew what he was doing. Todd did try to be nice, telling her he missed her, but as always, couldn’t help himself and they soon exploded into a huge argument!
There was much of the old technique of having actors talk over each other, as people usually do. The three of them (Starr included) did a pretty good job of it. It was like a scene from OLTL. Made me sad, in a way.
Todd kept insisting they get another lawyer. The one that got him off was pretty good. But, in the end, Starr wanted Tea, so Todd left, saying he was sorry Tea was having such a hard time. Tea scowled. Starr reassured Tea that her father knew what a great lawyer she was. They hugged.
Meanwhile, Todd, on the heels of Carly’s tirade against Johnny’s flowers, brought her a bouquet. He told Carly it must suck to be Johnny. (Probably not even knowing who he is.) “You’re back,” Carly said. “With a vengeance!” Todd replied.
Can’t wait to see what he’s up to!!
