The Hidden Meaning of SoapNET's Valentine's Marathon | Fancast News

http://www.fancast.com/blogs/2011/deep-soap/the-hidden-meaning-of-soapnets-valentines-marathon/

"What it means: OLTL has just launched a storyline that is hinting that it's possible that maybe, just maybe Todd might not really be Todd.  Suddenly, the show is showing photos of Roger Howarth as Todd.  Eli bequeathed Blair a portrait of herself painted from Blair (Kassie DePaiva) and Todd's "gold balloon" wedding which most fans agree was the best Todd and Blair wedding of them all. "

Lots more than this.  A good read.

Big Doin's at the Manning Mix Jukebox Today!

I was able to add several songs to the juke:

  • La Forza Del Destino, Pace, Pace by Guiseppe Verdi (Opera Scene)
  • Waiting for a Girl Like You, Foreigner (Todd walks out of wedding and speech to Tea)
  • Kunstlerleben, Op. 316, Strauss (Todd and Tea's wedding dance)
  • Dancing in the Dark (Jazz), Tony Bennett AND I Don't Know Why, Shawn Colvin (cabana scenes)

Even on AMC BOARDS

From "Repeats will air" on AMC BOARD at AOL:

"In what's themed to be "Classic Wedding" encores, All My Children fans will revisit the May 24, 2005 episode of Erica and Jack's vow exchange, General Hospital fans will see the December 29, 2008 episode of Robin and Patrick's wedding, and One Life to Live fans will view Todd (played by Roger Howarth) and Blair's November 14, 1995 episode wedding.

That's smart. I think most fans would rather see some "classic" episodes rather than a rerun of an episode of a show we just saw a few weeks ago. There is a difference! I for one am looking forward to the Jerica wedding epi and even Todd and Blair's. If I"m not mistaken that is probably their first wedding. Interesting that they are choosing a Todd epi with Roger Howarth considering all the rumors that he may come back to OLTL. I wouldn' t mind some other classic wedding epis in the future. Would love to see Cliff and Nina's again or Maria and Edmund, particularly because they don't do location weddings like that anymore! There are many themes they could do besides weddings - best back from the dead moments, Hi I"m your long-lost son or daughter etc. etc!"
