On twitter:
"oooh todd #OLTL, Roger Howarth should come back just saying,, or IS TED KING framing todd?"
"OLTL is MISSING:
It's lacking
Leading men under 50
villians
vixens
talented younger actors
character driven stories
romance
well defined relationships
complicated characters
angst
drama
good conversations between characters
depth in characters... oh wait... you just want one thing... well I'll say... a strong under 40 cast. I'm not saying they're all terrible, just that the show can and has done better with their casting choices.
I would agree on absolutely all points and add one more:
Roger Howarth"
Not on twitter, that's from ol' SOC
"FOR SALE
This classic tape from Hillary B. Smith’s personal “One Life to Live” collection was generously donated back to us by its original buyer, and we’re so grateful! This tape was homemade by a friend of Hillary’s in 1998 and contains only Hillary’s scenes. It’s imperfect but completely watchable, and if you don’t still own a VCR, no problem – we’re enclosing a DVD copy of the tape. This is a one-of-a-kind item. We won’t be making and selling additional copies.
The tape begins in April of 1998 with Nora having a nervous breakdown over the affair she's been led to believe Bo had with her psychotic ex-secretary Georgie Phillips. She's comforted by Sam Rappaport (Kale Brown), a lawyer and her former lover. When Georgie is murdered, not only does Bo end up confessing to killing her but a DNA test supposedly proves he fathered the unborn child she was carrying when she died.
Among the highlights of this great piece of OLTL history: Nora's first introduction to Sam's ex-wife Lindsay (the incomparable Catherine Hickland); such beloved past and present characters as Asa and Clint Buchanan (Phil Carey and Clint Ritchie), Tea Delgado (Florencia Lozano), Hank Gannon (Nathan Purdee), Max Holden (James DePaiva) and Blair Cramer (Kassie DePaiva); and a stunning performance by Roger Howarth as Todd Manning, who kidnaps virtually all of Llanview, demanding a confession from Georgie Phillips' real killer.
That confession finally comes, the last line of dialogue on this tape, and it shocks everyone who hears it.
Approximate running time: 6 hours, 15 minutes
