Nov. 12:

"One Life To Live, ABC — Keeping Up With the Carlivatis and Valentinis!
• Reality-TV princess Kourtney Kardashian, who admits she’s a huge One Life fan, taped a cameo appearance at the show’s 66th Street studio earlier this week in scenes opposite Kassie DePaiva and David Fumero. Let’s hope she’s not an Adriana recast! At press time, there was no airdate available other than sometime in March. In related news, GH is thinking of casting Kim Kardashian as another BrendaBot! Oh, I kid!

• Ted King has been crowned as the latest One Lifer. The former GH stud will hit Llanview’s hottest leading ladies beginning Jan. 21 and will share scenes with Kassie DePaiva. The character was not disclosed. Who do you think he’ll play?

• Holy paternity nightmare, Batman! Next week, Natalie, Jessica and Rex find “answers” for their paternity mysteries, however, expect at least a couple of DNA switches. The culprits? Marty and Clint are my bets. Poor Rex — the poor kid still won’t know who his real dad is yet!

• If One Life ever wants to recast Clint’s other illegitimate son, Cord, could there be a better actor than Emmy winner Vincent Irizarry? Thoughts?

• Whatever head writer Ron Carlivati and exec producer Frank Valentini are smoking, I hope they bought it in bulk! The show has returned to its former must-see, kick-a** self. For some reason, One Life always bounces back creatively around November sweeps (last year, the Mitch Laurence denouement was riveting TV). Or maybe that’s when ABC president Brian Frons takes vacation time? Regardless, welcome back, Llanview!

• Million-time Emmy winner Erika Slezak recently published her latest newsletter and as always there are some juicy tidbits in it. Slezak praises nuJoey, Tom Degnan; enthuses about One Life’s rosy future; Terri Colombino’s addition; reveals that a new One Life opening may be in the works; working with her peer Kim Zimmer; the possibility of Judith Light returning; One Life beating The Talk in the ratings; and how a Roger Howarth comeback could only energize Trevor St. John’s storyline. Head over to to read the interview!"

My own note: Please no recast of Cord. Please.

LOL don't worry, there has been no word on recasting Cord. They're probably saying this because Clint most likely has a new son now and also because Cord was actually mentioned on the show the other day, ha.

  2. Thank God, I don't think I could take it. With OLTL's history of recasts, I couldn't stand for another.

LOL, knowing OLTL, they would probably recast Cord with the actor who played Suede Pruitt. AHHH!
