How appropriate! Valentine's Day and . . . our boy and Rebecca hit the cabin! :D
Well, Hank has Todd's hair and Todd and Rebecca finally find the cabin. He walks in, knowing exactly where things are, and we know right away, he's been there before. Catch his face at 3:02 - nothing more beautiful than that. I love these
scenes. He's transcended into another time and she's still stuck in today. He's awe-inspiring here.
"No son of Peter Manning's is gonna spend the summer with that tramp and her lover."
And again at 6:10. Gorgeous. Not just for appearance and looks, but for the sincerity in this character. I know you all join me in saying he's beautiful, and it does not mean just his looks. It has to do with how he portrays Todd. Gorgeous stuff. Nothing like it, especially not on today's soaps.
Go Rebecca. I love this. "Todd, you owe me this!" She really does stand up to him at times throughout this! I love it. She convinces him to let her make a phone call, by appealing to his own loss. Perfect. He's so introspective and endearing here, I already forgot everything he did.
FAIL: NOTHING - how can there be a fail with that face on the screen?

I wonder whatever happened to Charles Heath and that cabin? Seems like it would have made sense for Todd to try and buy the place once he came into his millions--as a retreat kind of like the Buke lodge or Viki's cabin. It was so important to him. The last place he ever saw his mother.
ReplyDeleteHe was so stunningly beautiful. Angelic at moments. I always thought it was either great luck or a stroke of genius that TPTB picked a guy with such an amazing face to be Todd. And by amazing I don't just mean pretty--which he was (and is). I mean the way he could change the way you saw and felt about Todd with just a look. One minute he's got the coldest, darkest, most evil scowl that terrifies you and makes you want to climb out of your skin to get away from him. Then he smiles, and is like you can literally see that scared, brilliant, beautiful little boy who just wanted to be someplace safe with his mom.
The genius of Roger Howarth as Todd is that the scary monster lives side by side in the same body with that little boy, and you never know which one you're going to get. Will you get punched or hugged? It's a mystery.
My fail: Hank. LOL. "Look out Todd! We're closing in on you.". Yeah, right. Idiots.
@Daisy, you said it ALL PERFECTLY. He is SO STUNNING. There's no other way to say it. GOrgeous. And definitely angelic at times. Can appear so innocent and also so corrupt. I adore this man, and I pray he returns soon!

@TM9394 - yes, I noticed. He's SO amazing. There is not a single thing he misses. And you see it all on his face, whenever he's acting. Love it!
