Clip of the day, Feb. 12 and 13, 2011

After last night, I can only imagine what he must have looked like in these scenes. He's gorgeous in these YT vids, but on the television yesterday, just stunning. Indescribable. Imagine!

Todd is so beautiful here! And starting to get the rawness and open-woundedness. Love this whole part.....! You can see his tattoo ring when when he is looking at the map.

I love these scenes because they lead to my fave early scenes, in that cabin! Cannot wait!!!

Back on the road, let's see how the police do in these scenes (rolls eyes.) Todd is a raw, complicated mess here. He wants badly to be able to trust her, to be normal., but his anger, suspicion and guilt override that. I gotta give it to Rebecca, she holds her own and stands up to him. He's apologizing - then, he's yelling again. She wants the handcuffs undone, and they bargain. She helps him dump the car into the river, and asks him to trust her. It's clear he can't and to us, it's clear that it's more than just her actions. Inside him, everyone he's cared about, and he has also mentioned this, has left him behind.

Can his face be more beautiful? Even though these scenes are dark, his face is amazingly expressive and flawless. Roger probably has the best face I've ever seen in daytime, and maybe EVER. Gorgeous. I love when he pauses with Rebecca before pushing the car into the water, and thinks about where he is; "You're right about this place" and he starts to open up, then catches himself. We know we're nearing something important, so does Rebecca, and she's damned if she doesn't get him to delve into it.

FAIL: POWELL. UGH. Can anyone be more annoying?

Sound off!!

  1. Hank was kind of a tool. I'd forgotten that.

Love how Rebecca starts to get stronger here. She starts standing up to Todd and surprisingly, that seems to be what he responds to. The more she pushes back at him, the more he does trust her and open up to her.

    Blech. Powell.

  2. diva, you must be a long lost sister of mine! LOL! Powell. Blech. LOL that is all I can say until he is sinister at the end.

The only police official I liked was Bo when he became police commissioner.

"WHO AM I GOING TO TELL?! LOOK AROUND, DO YOU SEE A PHONE BOOTH?!"

Probably my all-time favorite Rebecca line...a rare moment of "spunk" from her...pretty humorous.

For all the whimpering she did throughout this journey, she ironically was probably the strongest of any of Todd's love interests. She dealt with him at his very rawest and persevered. The guy Blair and Tea dealt with was a pussy cat by comparison.

  4. I like that line but not my all-time fave. My fave was a few clips back, "You're GUILTY! I KNOW YOU HEAR ME!!!" LOL!

  5. I thought it was cute when he was looking at the map and she says, "Well now I know we're lost." LOL.

I have to think that in a lot of ways, Todd saved Rebecca just as much as she saved him. She grew stronger with him, partly because she had to, but also because I think he opened her eyes to the world. She was so strangely sheltered before and he made her look at the world more realistically.

I would so love for a real, grown up Rebecca, to come back into RealTodd's life. Not necessarily for a romantic pairing, but just because.
