(SoapOperaNetwork.com) -- On Friday, February 4, word from Soap Opera Digest's Carolyn Hinsey via her Twitter page indicated that ABC was looking to drop soap repeats from its lineup after introducing them in October 2010. Now Soap Opera Network has received word from an ABC representative that they have indeed dropped the repeats from their schedule.
"Our viewers like the original episodes better so we are eliminating the non-holiday encore episodes after the 2/11 encore broadcast," the ABC rep said.
OMG, that means that Roger's ep is the LAST REPEAT!!!
They are such idiots. It's not having encore episodes that sucks, it's the ones they choose to show. Why do I want to watch a repeat of the suck show that was just on six weeks ago? It sucked then and it's only gonna suck more on second viewing.
ReplyDeleteThe '95 encore is the first one I've seen anybody excited about. Why? Because it's an encore of a good episode from a good era with actors and story lines people actually want to see again, that's why. Hell, if they'd do that they could play an encore episode every week and it would be fine with me.
@diva, I actually feel like this is a good step for One Life. It means that they are NOT going to cut the budget and have less episodes per year. Something has made them decide to focus on new eps and not "save the money" they were supposedly saving by doing this! Hmmmm!
