"According to another site, OLTL could possibly be saved from cancellation if "The Chew" fails in the ratings; ABC is allegedly "keeping OLTL in it's back pocket." They didn't expect for OLTL to not only exceed in viewership (even prior to the cancellation announcement) but they are also surprised that it's their top rated soap. It might seem bleak, but if the Chew is a little too hard to swallow, we may very well get to keep OLTL. I already intended to NOT support the Chew, out of respect for AMC, but now I'm encouraged to really go out on an anti-Chew tirade."
Hmm if this were only true. Time will tell, this from SOC.
