It’s amazing that the blog is only one year old and has had this many views in such a short amount of time. I don’t think most blogs around the net get that many in two or more years. But we’re exceptional here, ya’ll. We are the bomb diggity! We give you info that you can’t find anywhere else. Okay, maybe you can find it somewhere else, but IT WILL NOT COMPARE TO TRTM Blog! We are the head bitches in charge here, yo. We represent like mo fo's with head nods and bumping speakers. You must wipe of your shoes before you step into this house…
Now that that is settled, I thought I’d take a different approach today and talk a little about what it takes to get some of the posts finished for you guys to read. Our resident Queen, Kim, is pretty much a master at keeping the blog organized and completely beautified! If I was running the place … well, lets just say if the blog were a home for you to invade, it would be located somewhere near HookerVille and HoeVine, and you’d have to wear shoes to your knees, socks to your throat, and don a hazmat suit and hardhat just to peek inside. In other words, it wouldn’t be nearly as pretty and proper to look at or visit.
When Kim first asked me to be part of the blog family to pen recaps for the show, I will readily admit that I was intimidated, yet honored. That she thought much of my tumblr posts in regards to various episodes and characters of the show, to even ask me, was a thrill and surprise. I honestly didn’t think anyone cared enough to read what I had to say, let alone that they would want me to contribute to their masterpiece! I was not only thrilled and honored because I admire her and her hard work, but because I look up to her and value her opinion, a lot. She may not know that, but it’s true.

So given that she was fond of what I had to say, even when it was cray-cray to the max and I was half sauced when typing it up, I jumped at the chance to be part of her “family” here, and I’m loving every minute of it. It’s not easy to get these posts out on time, especially when I’ve set my own deadline, between work, and, well, sleeping and drinking as I catch on old YT clips, but I try to do the best I can for Kim and everyone else who comes here to read my contribution to this AWESOME blog! It takes me at least two hours, at most when sober, to complete a post for one episode. One hour to rewatch and then another to gather my thoughts, look through my notes, and compose enough of my gibberish to make sense for someone who is in fact not me and not blacked out. I have yet to actually drunk post an episode, but I’m quite sure that if it ever happens, you will know it when you see it. And you will LOVE IT, I already know! In fact, I might do one for shits and giggles within the coming week. Work’s been rough and we could all use a good laugh at me.
Once I do a little editing and picture adding, I save the post, hope to hell Kim loves it, and it's up and ready to read within a few minutes at best! Pretty simple, for the most part, and frankly, it's worth it! I enjoy writing in general and love writing about OLTL and the various characters!
Believe it or not, that is pretty much it! I am often rewarded in praises of perfection, kisses, pats on the head, and bottles of champagne sent to my house via UPS. The latter is always accepted.
I sincerely hope that those who come to the blog enjoy my postings as much as I love writing them, as well as the other hardworking contributions made here by the entire TRTM family!! And I hope that you keep coming back and tell your friends, tell your lovers, tell your family, tell everyone about this place! We’re cool peeps and we like talking to other Roger and Todd fans! In the meantime, drink a glass of wine for me. I cannot afford a bottle of the Red this weekend. ::sad face::
@ Keliah My Dear, you are a gem. Kim scored big when she found you and we're all dazzled by your effervescence. I love reading all of your commentaries, keep them coming. They make me laugh and you should be a stand up comic. I also totally agree, Kim is the Bomb and this place we are part of is terrific. A toast to you and the next 100,000 views.
