Starr was looking at a picture of her family while Blair was outside talking to Tomas who called her back. She told him that she didn’t know where to start, but she assured him she wouldn’t let Todd anywhere near Starr.
Todd went to the Metro Court and met Carly Jax. He told her he was going to stay “as long as it takes.” He asked if he could pay in cash. Carly said she didn’t want any trouble. He didn’t either. He just didn’t want to be found. Carly introduced herself and Todd said he was Mr. Pleasure. No name, cash only . . . Carly got the picture. She told him he did have a memorable face.
Later Todd was looking at a tablet that read “Todd Manning Awaits Trial in Murder of Brother.” (or something like that, it went by fast) Carly returned with a drink to tell Todd that his room would be ready shortly. They bonded over both having someone they cared about at the hospital, but neither having permission to visit. Todd wanted to know what Carly knew about the accident. She told him Michael had brought Starr to the hospital. Todd insisted on talking to Michael, almost desperate for information. He went on about how you have to make your own justice. When he told Carly she didn’t seem the type to just sit by and take it, Carly’s eyes lit up and she said she had a plan.
Robert returned to Patrick and Robin’s house where Anna and Mac were frantically awaiting him. He was all bubbly and raring to go. He had seen a new light at the end of the tunnel. Anna thought he was not making sense. But Robert needed the cause of saving Ethan, his son. Anna tried to talk him into staying. Robert said Mac had been more of a father to Robin than he had. Anna told him how Robin understood him. Despite begging him to stay for the funeral, at least, he left on his quest. When Mac had left, too, Anna pulled her legs up and hugged the Koala bear Robert brought for Emma, and cried.
Meanwhile, Luke explained the situation with Robert to Holly and Ethan. He told them how he had given him a reason to live – a son. Neither were interested. Ethan wanted to go after Helena. Luke tried to convince him it would be an amazing adventure to hide from Helena and Robert
Michael came in to see Starr and asked if she remembered him. She was a little angry with him, but wanted to know everything, how it all happened. He told her he had tried to pry open the door, but was afraid he’d make the car fall. Cole was struggling to get Hope out of the car. The guard rail gave way. Michael tried to pull it back, but the car was too heavy. Starr wanted to know if he’d seen their faces. She asked if there was any way they could’ve gotten out. Michael was so sorry. She showed him the picture, but he barely glanced at it. He said he had looked at it for hours while she was unconscious. Starr wanted to know why he did all this for her, since he didn’t even know her. He said you don’t know me: I’m Michael Corinthos. The last name seemed to play around in her head until Blair returned. Blair asked Michael to leave, but Starr said they had a good talk. She thanked him for everything he did.
When Michael left, Starr pointed out that Cole’s parents had to be told. She said her Dad was probably the only one who knew where they were, but she didn’t want to have anything to do with him after what he did. (I sure wish Todd could deny it!) Blair was going to call John to contact Cole’s parents. She told Starr again that it was going to be a long road, but she would be there for her.
As Blair left the hospital room, Todd and Carly were wearing scrubs and looking like they were reading files.
