Luke and Robert had an interesting talk on the bridge. Luke was trying to convince Robert to come down. Robert wouldn’t stop blaming himself for not being there to rescue Robin. Luke wondered how he could have known. After many attempts to change his mind, including sharing the story of the little boy he killed, Luke came up with a new tactic. When Robert commented that he only had Robin, while Luke had three other children, Luke paused and then said Ethan was Robert’s son.
Turned out, the gun from Kate’s office is the one which shot out Anthony’s tires and caused the accident that killed Cole and Hope.
Starr asked her mother if she’d seen Cole and Hope. The accident began to come back to her and she started to cry. Michael was listening outside. Starr wanted Blair to tell her that Cole and Hope were okay. Blair very calmly and slowly told Starr what happened, but Starr just kept saying no, no, no. (Broke my heart.) Michael looked concerned. Starr just wouldn’t accept it. Blair assured Starr she was there to help and that they’d get through it together. Starr wondered why that guy (Michael) hadn’t saved them. He promised. Blair worked hard to calm Starr down. Starr must have fallen asleep. (I have to say, I was most impressed with Kristen’s performance. I’d never seen her do anything that emotional before. She handled it with her usual heart.)
With Starr sleeping, Blair made a call. She got voice mail, but left a message that she really needed to talk to the person. Who could it have been? Tea? Todd?
When Blair looked up, Todd was there.
