The Truth Comes Out (Friday’s Episode – 12/23/11) | Alexandra Coulter

Jessica and Clint were talking in the Drawing Room at Llanfair. Clint said he was getting the cold shoulder from Vicki. Ever since he kissed her. What? Clint explained how he had immediately told her about his Dear John letter from Kim, after the kiss. And she hadn’t spoken to him since. Jessica said, “We’ll fix that!”

Meanwhile, Natalie and Vicki were talking outside the Drawing Room. Vicki was telling Natalie how Clint had seemed so sincere when he told her how he felt about her. But when Vicki came back to Llanview, she had found Clint kissing Kim. If he thought she was going to let him carry on with Kim under her roof . . . Natalie told her to tell Clint that she saw him kissing Kim. She had learned you don’t hide your feelings.

So Vicki walked into the Drawing Room where Clint and Jessica were still talking. Vicki wished Jess a Merry Christmas and asked if Robert Ford was going to be spending Christmas with them. Jessica explained that he would be with his mother and brothers. Clint finally spoke up and noted that he was in the room. “For goodness sakes, woman, say it!” Vicki told him how she had seen him kissing Kim. As the talk got deeper, Jessica slipped out. Clint told her that he said goodbye to Kim and told her he wanted Vicki. Did she understand? Did she want him? Vicki said she’d been hiding from her feelings for Clint and had, in fact, run away from them. She was afraid of being hurt. Clint apologized again for the kiss with Kim and assured Vicki it didn’t mean what she thought it meant. She should open her heart to him.

As Tea showed John to the door, he assured her that he will be better than Santa and bring her brother back to her. He reminded her not to forget about her follow up appointment with the doctor. Tea told him not to forget about his follow up with Natalie.

John arrived at Llanfair with presents for Liam. He apologized for brushing Natalie off at the hospital. Natalie asked after Tea. Then she invited John in. Natalie confessed she had not been straight with him. It wasn’t true that she didn’t want to talk about their relationship. It was something Roxie told her about John. Then John’s phone rang and it was Shane telling him he wanted to talk to him. It was important.

Todd showed up at La Boulet with a Ho, ho, ho. Jack said he felt sorry for him. Todd had bags of presents for everyone. He had even wrapped them himself. He told Blair he didn’t have to stay if she didn’t want him to. But Blair never responded.

When Sam asked Todd where Santa was, Todd told him he was stuck in Sri Lanka. As the talk got around to Tea’s visit to the hospital, Blair hadn’t heard.

Back at Tea’s house, she apologized to Dani for getting so upset with Todd. (No mention of the flowers she destroyed, though.) There were just some things Dani needed to know about Todd. She calmly told her that Todd had a habit of hurting people. Dani said he’d never hurt his kids.

Just then they heard carolers. When Tea and Dani came to the door, they found the Manning clan minus Todd, singing. The group moved inside and toasted Victor. Very touching. Sam said he wanted to go home and look for Santa. He still believed in Santa even though Jack had told him last Christmas there was no Santa. Jack confessed that maybe he was wrong about it. Dani asked Starr what was up with Jack. He has a girlfriend.

Neela told Shane Jack trusted her. That’s why he had opened up to her. She hemmed and hawed but then Neela finally gave in and gave Shane the tape. As Shane was listening to Jack’s confession, Rex and Gigi were seeing what really happened that night. Shane’s eyes were lit as he was finally getting the proof he so wanted.

In Paris, Texas, Rex and Gigi were watching the portable TV at the Bonjour Cafe. Stacy said, “You think you’re going to marry Rex, but I am.” In the basement, Gigi was passing out on the floor when Stacy came in, saying this would be easier than she thought. Gigi in Texas was horrified. Rex was wincing. No doubt, Gigi on the floor was most confused at the site of herself there, demanding her wedding dress. Gigi said no and promptly passed out again while Stacy switched their clothes. Rex was mumbling that she was in the wedding dress. Gigi in Texas was feeling sick. Maybe from the door being open, the Gigi on the TV woke up again and grabbed Stacy’s ankle as she tried to leave. Stacy went down and Gigi got up and left the basement. The picture went black. Oh my God! They both realized it must have been Gigi that Kim found and nursed back to health. (But, you know what? Gigi did kill her sister.)

Rex took her in his arms and Gigi had a quizzical look on her face. I know I’m Gigi, but I don’t remember anything, she said. Rex kissed her and then all her memories came flooding back. I love you Balsom. I love you Morasco. Many tears running down my face.

Back in Angel Square Neela was pleading for Shane to listen to the whole tape and see how sorry Jack was for what he’d done. Wasn’t that enough? No, Shane wanted justice. John arrived and he introduced him to Neela. John wanted to hear the tape. He then told Shane all he needed was for Neela to sign a statement and Shane and Rex would have justice. Shane was so grateful to Neela. Neela just looked very sad.

When the Mannings returned. Santa was under the tree. (Santa looked a lot like Todd.)

Jessica and Natalie were outside the door of the Llanfair drawing room, listening. When they heard nothing, they walked in to find Vicki and Clint kissing. What a Merry Christmas it will be! They all hugged.

When Todd joined the family later, saying he was somewhere else, Blair mouthed thank you to him. Jack called Neela who was in tears.

Shane left a message for his Dad that the most amazing thing just happened! His mom could finally rest. My tears didn’t stop.
